Obviously biology 😛
But I have always been fascinated by physics, I was just never smart enough to understand it -
Andrea Kusec answered on 9 Mar 2020:
I love biology – but I also really loved physics. I did not enjoy chemistry that much 🙁

My favourite one was physics! I love learning how the world works 🙂

All 3 are very cool 😎 I think biology especially human biology because the human body is complex and has so many cool functions that we still don’t really understand – especially areas like the brain – nobody really knows why we sleep, or dream etc. – so really cool to do research and find out more about these areas!

At school, I would have definitely said biology are chemistry. But now I’m doing my PhD I can see how all three are fascinating in different ways!

I was very bad at physics, so biology and chemistry for me. But it is probably different for everyone, which is great, because we need scientists and teachers in all subjects!

I don’t think any of them are the “best” as you put, but my personal favorite is Biology.

Petruta Morvay answered on 10 Mar 2020:
Hi. I think Biology is the best field. It studies the living organisms directly.

Katrina Wesencraft answered on 11 Mar 2020:
Fields aren’t really separate like you learn in school! I think it’s become rarer that people work only on one thing. My lab is very multidisciplinary – it’s called biophotonics. While we’re part of the Physics Department at our university, we grow cells (human and bacteria), and we’re a mixture of biologists and physicists. There’s no point in the physicists developing a new imaging technique if they can’t use it to find out something new about biology. So they either need to learn about biology or work with someone who knows more than them!

They’re all really important, and there are lots of sub-fields within each of them! At school I enjoyed biology and physics more, but we need chemists too!

Sarah Brown answered on 13 Mar 2020:
I previously would have said biology however I have started using physics a lot recently and it is actually great! Although I think maths is better than all 3 😛

Robyn Kiy answered on 19 Mar 2020:
I think all fields are very important, but my favourite is definitely biology (with hints of chemistry)! My main interest is how medicines (this is the chemical part) impact the human body (biology) – so these are the parts I like most.
