      So in humans we use carbon for a lot of different things. Its used in carbohydrates, fats, nucleic acids, and proteins. These can then be broken to make energy!

      We are carbon based lifeforms so carbon is involved in pretty much every cellular process in some way!

      Pretty much all the molecules in your body (proteins, carbohydrates, fatty acids) have carbon in them.

      It makes up the vast majority of the molecules that make up us. But there is also a lot of carbon found in the ground. It is also what diamonds are made up of, so there are lots of different places
