While getting my MA in forensic anthropology, I worked for a year identifying unknown human remains at a Department of Coroner. I saw a lot of really unsettling things and that is why I am not a forensic anthropologist! I loved building up life stories from skeletons, but was not keen on working closely with remains that were not skeletons.
When I was deciding which university to go to, I visited a few universities, and at one of them we got shown round the human anatomy lab, where they dissect human bodies. I found that pretty grim!
