• Question: what would you advise the Italian government in order to defeat the virus?

      Wow. Great question but a tough one. I think the Italian government is doing a good job trying to lock down the country for now. It will be interesting to see how things progress there now

      I think an important thing would be to keep people well informed and not panicked. Make sure that people know what the rules to follow are: wash your hands regularly with soap and water, don’t touch your face, sneeze into your elbow and stay inside if you’re sick. Limiting travel from and to the affected areas is also probably a smart move.

      I think the Italian government is already on a good track to take control of what’s happening – I think the main thing they should communicate is for people not to panic and to follow travel and hygiene advice.

      Good question! I think that the Italian government is doing the right thing at the moment, but we need to see how it plays out before we can say if its been successful. Keep an eye on the news!

      I’m unsure by what will happen but I think the quarantine should lower numbers

      I think they’re in a really tough situation and they’re doing the best they can. The main thing is keeping people up to date on the situation and trying to make sure people don’t panic.

      Its difficult to give advice when I don’t work on the new coronavirus, but whatever measures they bring in I think its important that they communicate clearly with the public about what they should do and why.
