Question: What would the change in mice behaviour would change the world?

That’s a great question! So we are making changes in the mice’s brains that we think are in humans that have schizophrenia – which is a serious mental illness. I’m now working with my mice to see how their behaviour has changed – and if it has, how it has changed. If my mice show any symptoms of schizophrenia, that means we can now better understand what causes schizophrenia in humans. When we better understand the illness, that helps us figure out how we can best try and treat it.
