• Question: What happens when you react ethanoic acid and magnesium sulphate?

      Okay I havent done chemistry in a while

      MgSO4 + 2 CH3COOH = Mg(CH3COO)2 + SO3 + H2O

      Magnesium Sulfate + Ethanoic Acid = Magnesium Acetate + Sulfur Trioxide + Water

      Chemistry is definitely not my strong suit as my teachers were awful.

      What I do know from Mahrukh’s answer is the sulphur trioxide is a component of acid rain
