      Learning something new everyday.
Being one of the first people in the world to know about the latest scientific discoveries.
I get to learn about all sorts of different research areas, not just one.
I also get to be creative as a scientist making videos, writing blogs, recording podcasts all to share science in fun and engaging ways

I agree that itโ€™s all about learning new things and solving new problems! Other great things include the people you meet and places that you get to travel to to meet them! โœˆ๏ธ

I love that as scientists, we discover things that no-one else has ever discovered before! And then we get to share that knowledge with the world.

Learning something new – constantly! Even just spending time with other scientists I feel like I learn a lot of things. I also really love to be able to work with patients – it’s easy to lose a picture of “the real world” and get sucked into a “science bubble” – so working with patients is a great way to learn about what issues people currently face, and how to feed this back into our work.
