Hi! It is a good thought, since they both affect the respiratory system. COVID-19, however, is a virus and asthma is long term lung disease so they aren’t linked as such, but do result in similar symptoms including breathlessness. While there is no link in their causes, if someone has asthma and gets coronavirus it could make their asthma symptoms worse.
