• Question: How is Oxygen produced and spread into the air?

      The most common natural way to produce oxygen is photosynthesis, which is a process that plants use to convert the carbon dioxide in the air in oxygen. More than 50% of the oxygen produced in the world comes from tiny ocean plants called phytoplankton. I’m not sure if there is a particular way through which oxygen is spread in the air. My best guess is that it is just released by the plants in the air and then spread through air by diffusion.

      Oxygen is created by plants and algae. They use photosynthesis (using energy from the sun to make food for themselves) to convert carbon dioxide into oxygen. This spreads through the air by diffusion – which is the principle that something with a high concentration in one area, will naturally move to areas of low concentration 🙂

      Through plants who go are photosynthesising. This is why deforestation is contributing to global warming, because there are less plants taking carbon dioxide out of the air and making oxygen. The carbon dioxide in the air is increasing and trapping the heat from the Sun in our atmosphere making us slowly heat up
