Question: Hi! I have went to the doctors twice about not being able to breath properly for a couple of periods of time, but both of the times they have given me an inhaler that hasn't worked for me in the past. what would you recommend I do?

I’m afraid the only thing I can really recommend is to go back again and tell them that it isn’t working for you. I am not a medic and any doctor would be able to give you much better advice on this than I can, sorry! Scientist are often very specialised and, while I work on asthma, my expertise is in mathematical modelling and learning about what is going on mechanically inside an airway. I am not qualified to help patients with asthma and so would hate to provide bad advice.
