      Nope! I have a small family – I’m related to everyone with my last name. I’m the only scientist in my whole extended family. My dad worked for an insurance company and my mum is a yoga teacher.

      None that I’m aware of! My dad is an architect and my mom worked in a retail store. My sister is a teacher.

      I grew up in a very rural area of Wales so I had no exposure to any scientists until I got to university

      Nope none that I know of. None of my family are into science so I am a bit of an odd one out!

      Not that I know off… I am from a family of engineers and mathematicians so I bucked the trend!
